Be careful what you wish for.....

For what is a man profited, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul?

How many times during the do you wish for someone else's life? Do you know what you are really wishing for? Someone drives pass in the latest car, wearing the latest clothes, probably talking on the latest smart phone; how did that person come by it? What did they have to do to get it? What do they have to put up with?

Unless you become a fly on the wall in their personal home or actually turn into the person themselves you will never know.  You are not there to here the put downs and name calling they take from their bosses, lovers, husbands or partners. You do not see them being worked into the ground; smiling when they want to cry, laughing when they want to slit their wrists. Exchanging one type of prison for another.

I grew up wanting to hurry and become an adult just to escape the prison I called home but is the one I ended up in any better than the one I escaped from? Was it worth my soul?

Loneliness

Why do I write? It's not that I want people to think I am smart, or even that I am a good writer. I write because I want to end my loneliness.

I grew up in a household with six people and I thought at that time it was the loneliest point in my life.  To the world cup was normal but inside I was screaming for someone to see me, to be my friend. 

Its funny how these things shape your life because of the loneliness I felt at home I became friends with people who didn't add to me.  That's what most people do not understand, that you have to have something to add to someone's life because if you keep taking and taking then that person is gonna cut you off.
